School-Parent-Student Contract

School Responsibility:

  • Community School will provide a safe and positive learning environment that promotes a high quality curriculum that will meet the needs of your child.
  • Community School will monitor attendance and communicate problematic absences.
  • Community School will monitor student progress, and staff will be available to meet with students and/or parents.
  • Community School will conference with parents to discuss student academic progress.
  • Community School will communicate school rules and enforce appropriate behavior. 

Student Responsibility:

  • I will attend school every day. I understand that if I am absent more than 3 times in a term, I will be dropped from the program. (4 tardies = 1 absence)
  • I will come to school with the proper supplies.
  • I will come to school with a positive attitude.
  • I will come to school to succeed.
  • I will show respect for others and for school property.
  • I will listen to my teachers and follow all directions.
  • I will pay attention in class and will not disturb others.
  • I will encourage my parents to attend parent conferences.
  • I will do assignments outside of class, as required.
  • I will abide by dress and conduct expectations of PISD.

Parent Responsibility:

  • I will make sure my child attends school daily and arrange for transportation, as needed.
    I understand that if my child is absent more than 3 times in a term, he/she will be dropped from the program. (4 tardies = 1 absence)
  • I will equip my child with the required supplies for school.
  • I will encourage my child and model a positive attitude about school.
  • I will motivate my child to succeed.
  • I will encourage my child to show respect others and for school property.
  • I will expect my child to follow the directions of school personnel
  • I will attend scheduled parent conferences to discuss my child's academic achievement.
  • I will monitor my child's academic progress and contact school personnel as needed.
  • I will encourage my child to do assignments outside of class, as required.
  • I will encourage my child to abide by dress and conduct expectations of PISD.
